Donna Laudati, a lifelong animal enthusiast and employee of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (formerly Saint Barnabas Medical Center), recently updated her estate plans to include the Medical Center's Pet Therapy Program. Says Donna, "It has been something I have been thinking of for quite some time. It is a chance to do something wonderful that will last beyond my lifetime. I wish to leave some good behind through the comfort and joy a dog can bring to a sick patient."

When someone dear to you dies, keeping their memory alive is such an important aspect of perpetuating their legacy. When my late husband, Bob Freeman, died 21 years ago, the "Bob Fund" was born! Our mission was ongoing educational programs for the medical community. Since then we added support for pancreatic and breast cancer research as well as needed equipment in the hospital's Cancer Center.
